It is secured with a snap. Each cover is uniquely finished to the edge to reduce fraying. The backs are finished with bamboo velour for optimal quality and comfort. They are machine washable (recommend in a small lingerie bag on the gentle cycle and lay flat to dry), reusable and eliminate the need for boring annoying gauze and tape.
