Founded by mother-daughter team Heather and Hannah
Hannahtopia was founded by the mother and daughter team of Heather and Hannah!
About Hannah
Hannah is a beautiful young lady inside and out. She is a pretty awesome 17 year-old who has severe intractable epilepsy in the form of Lennox Gastaut Syndrome. As a result, Hannah has suffered from 100,000+ seizures, leading to multiple developmental delays. Severe epilepsy has presented her with many challenges in life; however, Hannah perseveres by remaining positive, savoring each day, and pushing hard to make it to the next day!
From Heather
Hannah and I have been on an amazing journey that I would not give up in a million years! Perhaps I would have chosen to take a few shortcuts ☺. But none-the-less, I’ll keep this map that we’ve traveled.
This remarkably challenging journey has led Hannah and me to a mission:
We Created Hannahtopia
And it led us to create this online shop, Hannahtopia, for you!
A place where you can purchase products that are fun, colorful, unique, comfy, safe, and functional. Plus we offer items for Mom, Dad, siblings, and caregivers!
When you brighten a child’s life, you brighten life for the whole family, which in turn strengthens families facing difficult times.
We hope you enjoy our boutique! We would love to hear from you! Let us know your story, how Hannahtopia products brighten your day, and suggestions for products we could carry!
Who We Work With
Hannahtopia offer products designed by other parents of children with medical challenges from all over the United States. These parents know best what types of products these amazing children need! We are excited to work in partnership with them to offer Hannahtopia to all of you – your go-to shop for fun, colorful, comfy, safe, and functional products!
We are proud to manufacture our signature product – the NillyNoggin EEG Cap – in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where we are based!
We work in collaboration with the East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) to manufacturer the NillyNoggin caps. By keeping our manufacturing local, we are able to help EECM with their mission and invest in building our community.
About East End Cooperative Ministry:
Since 1970, East End Cooperative Ministry has been building a community of opportunity in Pittsburgh. They are dedicated to helping vulnerable adults and at-risk children and youth throughout our Pittsburgh neighborhoods. An interfaith ministry, EECM seeks to make a difference in the lives of the individuals and families it serves by tending to their needs for today as well as their hopes for tomorrow.
