About Hannah
Hannah is a beautiful young lady inside and out. She is a pretty awesome 22 year-old who faces the challenges of severe epilepsy, specifically Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, a particularly severe form of epilepsy. Since she was just four months old, Hannah has endured tens of thousands of seizures. She has survived numerous life-threatening episodes and recently underwent brain surgery in 2024 in an effort to control her seizures.
From Heather
Hannah and I have been on an amazing journey that I would not give up in a million years! Perhaps I would have chosen to take a few shortcuts ☺. But none-the-less, I’ll keep the map. However, I will not sugar coat the dark reality that this is not an easy life. My heart goes out to all families living with an epilepsy diagnosis whether one seizure or 100 hundred seizures a month. ONE seizure is too many! Our sole purpose is to help families through this journey by offering a product that has been helpful to us in hopes that it will help you as well.
Our mission is to provide comfort and confidence while helping to reduce the stress associated with the EEG process.
We Created Hannahtopia
Hannahtopia, is home of the original NillyNoggin EEG Cap!
The NillyNoggin is a cap designed and created by us! It is specifically for children and adults undergoing EEG (electroencephalogram) testing for epilepsy. These caps are colorful, comfortable, and immensely helpful during the testing process. NillyNoggin EEG Caps are in high demand at children’s hospitals across the country and for that we are proud! We want nothing more than to help families living this epilepsy nightmare.
We have been on this epilepsy journey for 22 years and understand firsthand how NillyNoggin EEG Caps can be transformative during testing. They help turn a stressful EEG experience into something a bit more manageable for families like ours.
There is an overwhelming wave of silent sadness throughout the nation among families living with epilepsy. It often involves a relentless 24/7, 365-day vigilance, with the constant threat of sudden unexplained death from epilepsy (SUDEP). We are all too familiar with this reality.
The heartfelt feedback we receive from families and staff who use the NillyNoggin EEG Cap is truly uplifting!

Oh, by the way …
We are proud to manufacture our signature product – the NillyNoggin EEG Cap – in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!
